According to the tourism website for this area, ” The Margaret River Region is a living and breathing embodiment of ancient geography and Wadandi song lines. Natural beauty, abundance of space, fine wine and fresh coastal air make a holiday here the remedy to modern life.” We found this to be true. It was relaxing, there was lots of wine and lots of coastal air. This is where it’s located on the map:

We visited a couple of underground caves with spectacular stalagmites and stalactites that were formed over thousands of years as water dripping from the cave ceilings mixed with minerals in the limestone. When the Jewell cave was discovered, the skeleton of a Tasmanian Tiger was found. Tasmanian tigers were thought only to have been alive in Tasmania, however this is one piece of evidence that proves this to be untrue.
We also attended some wineries in the region. As many of her friends would know, Gina has famously stated that she does not like Western Australian wine, especially from Margaret River. The video will prove otherwise!!!
We visited a few other places – Bunbury with its awesome dolphins, Wellington Damn’s mural, Mandurah’s giants and Gnomesville where Noddy felt somewhat at home, but not really as he is not a gnome.
